I completed all but dissertation for my PhD in Biocultural Medical Anthropology at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. I was investigating socio-cultural factors that influence health, using stress theory, a cognitive theory of culture, and cultural consonance theory. Tuscaloosa was my field site.

 I love to teach and am told this is my best talent. I have a Bachelor's in Applied Sociology and a Master's in Cultural Anthropology.
