I am in the analysis phase of my PhD in Biocultural Medical Anthropology at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. I am investigating socio-cultural factors that influence health, using stress theory, a cognitive theory of culture, and cultural consonance theory. Tuscaloosa is my field site.
